ABOUT THE PUBLICATION
THE QUESTION BEHIND THE HEADLINES
The Regime Map connects world events with the economic mechanisms that matter for markets. A policy decision can change a supply route. A physical constraint can change inflation. Those changes can alter the conditions in which capital moves.
The work is to explain those connections, separate evidence from interpretation, and state where a thesis could fail.
THE METHOD
Four steps. One accountable explanation.
Separate what happened from what is forecast. Begin with the decision, disruption, or change in conditions.
Follow the consequences through physical supply, economic activity, policy choices, and capital flows.
Compare market responses with the thesis. Keep competing explanations and contradictory evidence in view.
Identify the development that would weaken the thesis. A useful regime view must be open to revision.
EDITORIAL PRINCIPLES
Facts, forecasts, and interpretations should be distinguishable. Sources belong alongside the claims they support. Uncertainty is part of the analysis, not a footnote.
Commercial partnerships are identified. Sponsors do not set conclusions or approve independent editorial coverage.
The glossary explains the labels on each lane, and the data sources page lists which close counts for each instrument.
CORRECTIONS
Material factual errors should be corrected in the affected issue, with a note explaining the change. A change of view should identify the evidence behind it.
