This website does not install advertising trackers. Search and topic filters appear in the page URL; avoid entering personal information in a search.

Cloudflare hosts and secures this website and may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, for those purposes.

Email and subscriptions

We count subscription requests, pending confirmations, and successful subscriptions by form placement. We also count visits to issue and thesis-history pages. These event records contain no email address, search text, cookie, or reader identifier.

The signup form collects your email address and sends it to beehiiv, the newsletter’s delivery service, to create a subscription. A confirmation email is sent, and nothing is delivered until you confirm.

beehiiv processes your address under its own privacy policy. Every issue carries an unsubscribe link.

Messages sent to the publication’s contact address are forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to an inbox hosted by Google. Your email address, message, and any attachments are processed by those services to deliver the correspondence.
