Daily Take
Strikes on shipping were reported through the talks. On Tuesday, UKMTO said two unknown projectiles hit a tanker near Oman's northeast coast, striking its engine room, with no injuries, CBS News reported; we could not check UKMTO's notice at source. A day earlier an Indian coaster, the Al Jusufi, was struck off Limah in Oman. One crew member was reported killed and 13 were rescued, The Maritime Executive reported.
The diplomacy kept moving too. Iran's foreign minister described a revised plan in which the US acts on day one and shipping resumes on day two, according to a Reuters report relayed by Hellenic Shipping News. The same page carries claims by Iran's Revolutionary Guards that two tankers hit mines. We could not check the Reuters original at source. A proposal is not a reopening.
Oil eased. Brent's January 2027 contract closed Tuesday at 103.60 dollars a barrel on ICE's daily record, about 1.1 percent lower. December 2027 barely moved. Reuters says traders weighed the peace talks against the attacks. In Washington, CBS projects that Democrats will retake the House, and CNBC reports Democratic majorities in both chambers, after Tuesday's midterms. Votes were still being counted in several races. None of it changes the US-Japan policy-rate gap the standing regime turns on. The map does not change.
The scoreboard
How to read this: each lane is a standing idea about where capital is going. Rule is the condition we set in advance and whether it has been met; Thesis is where the idea stands today. Each lane ends with the next event that tests it. A lane with no new evidence keeps its last thesis state, and the card dates when that state was last assessed; lanes listed as carried forward keep their last stated reading and state. Each lane's history, and any end line we have registered, is public at theregimemap.com/lanes. Definitions: Glossary

Thesis stateUNCONFIRMED
Does the evidence fit the thesis while another explanation for the same evidence remains open? The card names that explanation.
Full entry in the glossaryRule stateNOT FIRED
The condition has not been met. This label also covers a test whose required conditions were never present, and the card says which case applies. A test that needs a level to hold for two sessions stays NOT FIRED until the second session closes.
Full entry in the glossaryRule stateINVALIDATED
The test can no longer be judged as written. Either its instrument, level or basis has been overtaken, or the invalidating event we named in advance has happened. We replace or retire an invalidated test openly, and we never change it quietly.
Full entry in the glossaryRule stateRETIRED UNRESOLVED
A test withdrawn without a resolved outcome. Its history records why it was retired and whether it was replaced.

Has enough evidence built up against the thesis that the thesis itself is in question, not just today’s move?
Full entry in the glossaryRule stateFIRED
The test’s condition was met on the close it is judged on, and the card gives the date. A fired rule stays fired. If the price later moves back through the level, the rule is still fired. Only an invalidation can change it.
